We had the good fortune of connecting with Kami Pringle and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kami, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted a product that people could enjoy without getting sick. I have a disease called mast cell activation syndrome and my husband has really bad asthma. I had a hard time burning candles in our house which is something I have always loved doing and now with our candles I can enjoy them without feeling nauseous or getting a headache and my husband doesn’t struggle to breath.

What should our readers know about your business?
There was a ton of research that went into The Candle Company LLC. Our wicks are tested and certified for safety. We had to find a fragrance company that would make our oils from scratch meeting all our specific needs. And of course, we started this business right before the country closed down due to COVID making it hard to find the perfect jars and lids. However, things just fell into place and working it’s self out. And now here we are today with the world’s cleanest candles™.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to Jerome and kayaking down the Verde River.
