We had the good fortune of connecting with Abigail Vazquez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Abigail, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
One of the most important decisions in your life is choosing the right career. It determines your future and part of your happiness. If you don’t love what you do, you won’t be as successful as you were intended to be. Seven years ago, I made the decision to become a nail artist. From an early age, I discovered I was very artistic. This defined me as a person who always gives 100% in everything I’m passionate about. I define creativity as a never ending resource that takes you to unimaginable places. This resource is crucial for success in the beauty industry. Now, those unimaginable places are tangible to me. I have my own salon suite, I’m continuing my education acting on accomplishing my goals and loving my career more everyday. I have the opportunity to make a positive impact on women’s lives. Women to whom nails represent a feminine, classy, sophisticated side they can’t hide.
What should our readers know about your business?
Cachet Nail Salón was created after seeing the lack of customer service and quality of work in the nail industry. Attention to detail, cleanliness, customer service focus, latest nail art trends, and privacy is what sets us apart from others. From a regular manicure to a set of enhancements our quality is top notch. We use the highest non toxic quality products in the industry which are safe for clients and ourselves. As a business owner, I’ve learned the importance of really listening and understanding what my clients are looking for and then going above and beyond that. This creates loyalty and trust.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Day #1 For breakfast “Matt’s Big Breakfast” simple menu, yet always satisfying. They have incredible waffles. “Cachet Nail Salón” would be our second stop of the day where pretty nails and toes are a must. Blanca the pedicurist is great!. Dinner “Lamp Pizzeria”.
Day #2 “Alo Cafe” for breakfast then heading to “Botanical Garden”. Shopping is a must “Fashion Square” mall.
Day #3 and Day #4 Sedona. Staying at “Enchantment Resort” and driving to downtown where all the fun is.
Day #5 Time to relax at the “Fairmont Resort”. -Spa Day – They have great restaurants inside property. Day #6 Hiking Time! Pinnacle Peak trail. For breakfast “Snooze” and then heading to “Candytopia”. For our last special dinner nothing like “Elements” at the “Sanctuary Resort.”
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The most influential people in my life are my mom- Ana- and my pastor-Eli-. They planted in my heart the importance of believing in my dreams. Also, I would like to dedicate this shoutout of gratitude to my clients who have supported me through my journey, without them I would not be where I am today. Each one them have a special place in my heart.
