We had the good fortune of connecting with Bruce Battoe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bruce, what do you attribute your success to?
Although providing quality work and affordable rates are two essential factors in retaining clients and receiving referrals, an irreplaceably important factor is to always give more than you receive. We always make a point of giving something extra to the client. Whether it be discounts for additional services, help with referring them customers, or simply extra attention to detail to make sure they are happy with the videos we produce for them, giving something extra is always appreciated and shows that we value going the extra mile for our clients.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Elite Business Films was founded on the principle of producing promotional videos for businesses using ethical principles in advertising. We believe truth builds trust. The audio in our videos is almost always created by interviewing the client about their business, so that they can answer “from the heart”, instead of being scripted. Even though the use of actors or voice artists is not necessarily dishonest, we believe that presenting the real people who work in the business, speaking sincerely, is the best way to show their potential customers who they really are as businesses, and what to expect. We also advocate for our clients to include real customer testimonials, in which the customers are motivated by their love of the business to give genuine remarks that are never paid for.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arizona and the Sonoran Desert are unique places in the USA and the world. When friends are visiting Phoenix from out of state, I like to show them the saguaro-studded beauty of Lake Pleasant, followed by a meal at one of the many fine resorts here in the Valley, like the Kierland Resort with its daily 6pm bagpipes performance. The Desert Botanical Garden is also a must-visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Elite Business Films would like to recognize the non-profit Brain Injury Alliance of Arizona (BIAAZ.org) for their stellar work in providing free services for people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI). TBI’s are often called “the invisible injury” because it may be not apparent to the general public that someone has suffered a brain injury or concussion that has lasting effects. The BIAAZ is a great resource for people in Arizona, and we are proud to work with and support such a valuable organization.
