Meet Chloe Cosette, Cheyanne Glazier | Owners of C&C Productions, LLC

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chloe Cosette, Cheyanne Glazier and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chloe, Cheyanne, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
As a kid, everyone remembers looking to the future and seeing what they want to be. For Chloe and Cheyanne, it was the dream of storytelling, but specifically in filmmaking. They would frequently imagine stories they could only dream of being able to tell. So, they decided to make it a reality and start their media production company, C&C Productions.

For us, C&C Productions is a way for us to use our artistic sides to help people tell their own stories. We also had an itch to be able to positively impact others through our work, and that continues to be one of our main goals. It is becoming increasingly popular that companies want video, photo, and graphic design. We have found that one of the reasons why, is because it is one of the easiest ways to touch people’s hearts. Whether it is to sell something, do something cool, or tell a truly unique or emotional story, it is something that more people want to be apart of especially in Arizona. Visual storytelling is something that has impacted both of us immensely already, and we want to pass that on to others.

Our company is already a dream come true for us, and we can’t wait to see where it goes next.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Thus far, we have had the opportunity to work with many clients on some commercials, a music video, narrative films, and an online course for video editing, which is releasing July 1st. The two of us have had the most experience working in narratives so far, and during college we had gotten 30 nominations combined, with 5 of those being for the Rocky Mountain Emmy’s. Below, the two of us will go into some detail for ourselves individually.

For me, (Cheyanne Glazier), one of the things I am most proud of is one of my short documentaries, titled “Stigma”. It is about two individuals, and they both describe their struggles with mental illness (Depression & Bipolar Disorder), and how invisible it is to people sometimes. This short documentary was something very close to my heart, and I almost didn’t even make it. There were personal hurdles that I had to overcome to be able to make it, namely the fact that I also suffer from mental illness, and I was putting myself out there for others to see in that way. It was one of the projects that propelled me to grow as an individual, and it is still one of my most talked about projects by others.
This is a project I thought heavily about when beginning to create this production company with Chloe. Mainly because it required a giant leap of faith to make Stigma, just like it was going to require a leap of faith to create C&C Productions. There was a lot of unknowns, just like there is with any passion that you decide to pursue.
One thing I did know: I needed to do it, regardless of what fear I had. I had a dream as a young child to become a video editor. Now, I have been learning it for 11 years, and I have a deep passion for it. I also felt comfortable being able to do it alongside Chloe, my best friend of 4 years at this point.
“If it doesn’t scare you, then it probably isn’t worth it”. I have been saying this to myself since a young age, and I have found it to be true in every case. This was something else that helped me feel confident in my decision about C&C, and I have absolutely no regrets.

For me, (Chloe Cosette), filmmaking has always been an art that I have loved. As a young child, I would run around the house creating films with my siblings. If I wasn’t, I was often found in my room writing my next film. It was something that was always in my blood. I was a quiet kid who used film as a way to get thoughts out. Living in a family of extroverts, sometimes my introverted self needed another outlet to get my thoughts out. As I grew, my passion for filmmaking grew with me. I went to college and fell in love even more with three positions of filmmaking, which are screenwriter, cinematographer, and director. Here I am, now making my dreams even more of a reality. I have directed many shorts, but lately I have really been drawn more to the cinematographer position. I find it incredibly beautiful that my thoughts are being shared with so many people, without me having to open my mouth. Being able to have the audience watch my work and be able to pick up on what I worked so hard on is amazing. Even if it was just one person, that one frame could have changed their life. Now with C&C Productions, I can help other people tell their stories without even having to say a word. Sometimes, all you need is to show and not tell.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, Joe’s BBQ is an absolutely incredible place in Downtown Gilbert with amazing atmosphere and food. It is definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Arizona. I also would probably tell people to just check out Downtown Gilbert in general, it is AMAZING at night. If you like the outdoors, you could also go to the White Tank Mountains. It is picturesque and super beautiful, especially at sunset. – Cheyanne Glazier

I would say go up to Sedona. There are some really fun hiking trails there, and the town is great to walk through as you’re surrounded by gorgeous red rocks. – Chloe Cosette
