We had the good fortune of connecting with Christy George and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Christy, how do you define success?
Success can be defined by others many different ways. To me, I define success by doing what you love. Success, in my opinion, isn’t based on wealth. I base it off of your health, lifestyle that brings you joy, freedom to live how you choose, and mostly doing what you love!
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I got to where I am today with passion and a dream. I made the risk to commit to doing something I love rather than staying in my comfort zone. I made a decision that I was no longer going to do something I wasn’t passionate about. To me, spray tanning is more than the safer way to tan. Spray tanning is not only a big confidence booster, it is a time for you to step out of your every day hustle and bustle and for 15-30 minutes it is all about YOU! I want to make YOU feel beautiful not only on the outside but leave physically feeling good on the inside too! I like to say “let me be your hype man”! I am always rooting for my clients and I strive to ensure each and every one of them knows it when they walk out our door. Tan the safer way while feeling good on the inside and glowing on the outside! Keep Glowing baby!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area first I would treat her to a spa day at one of our amazing resort locations nearby! Then of course swing by Bronzmo for a Custom Heated Airbrush Tan. Next I would be sure to stop by some of my favorite spots! Diego Pops in Old Town for all the delicious drinks & food plus very instagramable. Chin up donuts in Scottsdale for the best Donuts EVER! The Beach House for fish tacos in Central Phoenix and of course hang at my personal favorite The Scott Resort! I love the energy and vibe of the entire resort. The drinks are amazing too!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shoutout to my husband, Matthew, he has been my biggest supporter through everything! He is really who pushed me to take the risk and do what makes me happy. Life is too short to not do what brings you joy. I mean how amazing to have someone who believes in you so much to push you to pursue YOUR happiness! Forever filled with gratitude! I appreciate and love him so much. We made it happen, together. You just got to keep going!
