We had the good fortune of connecting with Flora Puerta and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Flora, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It all started in my home. I have always enjoyed cleanliness. So I decided that a cleaning business where the main mission was to help people have an impeccable and healthy space to work was what I wanted to do. At first, it started with just one employee, myself. As the business grew, we integrated more people. Today we have 5 people who support us in our project.
What should our readers know about your business?
Clean and Bright is a commercial cleaning business, we do: move in-out cleaning, deep cleaning, construction clean-ups, sanitization and disinfection. We are known for offering quality service and excellence. I am pleased to know that my small business has grown and that every day, we are reaching more people. I truly think that behind the success of my cleaning company is due to the consistency, passion, and commitment with which we do every single work. I believe that every business or home it’s an own project and we strive to make our clients happy.
I’ve learned that being persistent has allowed me to complete every goal that I have set for myself and for Clean and Bright. I maintain that if something doesn’t feel right, we have to fight for things to go well.
I want the world to know that my cleaning business values are based on commitment, honesty puntuality and professional ethics. I would love to inspire all those entrepreneurs to chase their dreams and achieve everything they want with determination.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
One of my favorite parts of living in Arizona is that there is so much to do. I’d start with a trip to my favorite place to eat “Barrio Queen”, where you can enjoy authentic Mexican food and the best cocktails in town. Then we would take a walk through downtown Scottsdale.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are many people to whom I am extremely grateful. I appreciate all the advice and support they have given me over the years. I want to thank my daughters who are my greatest inspiration. They are the people who motivate and encourage me every day. I strive to be and do my best by being a good example for them.
