Hi Kelli, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Organization is key to staying dialed in with our clients. Deadlines are a necessity in marketing, and the only way to stay in front of those deadlines is to know when they are approaching. Keeping track of those deadlines for multiple clients across multiple platforms requires detailed organization.

In the world of marketing, follow-up is also key. Communication with clients is vital in the completion of projects. And making sure the client is happy with the finished product requires following up with them throughout the process.

Being a small business owner requires a high level of drive and productivity. Those are both qualities that have developed through the habit of working hard and always striving for the best outcome in every situation.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Unlike DIY marketing tools, Ready. Set. MARKET. goes beyond just providing software and analytics. Our fully-managed digital marketing platform pairs business owners with our dedicated team of marketing experts to become an extension of their business. We get to know our client, their target audience, and their goals, and craft customized campaigns to meet their unique needs. We handle everything from SEO and paid ads to social media and beyond – allowing business owners to focus on running their business.

Running your own business has its ups and downs. I have gotten to where I am today through hard work and persistence, along with the support and backing of others. One of my favorite sayings is that “we don’t know what we don’t know”. When you surround yourself with people who are passionate about what they do, everyone functions better.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Lake Havasu City offers so many great options for places to stay, eat, hang out, visit…truly something for everyone. From hiking to boating or kayaking or paddleboarding, taking the side-by-side out in the desert to attending one of the many fantastically fun events, such as the Balloon Fest or Desert Storm, not to mention the endless options for fabulous food! Narrowing it all down is too difficult a choice to make!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I wouldn’t be where I am without my amazing partner, Josh. He supports my vision for the business and all the hours I put in to achieve our goals. My business partner, Wendy, who excels where I don’t, and keeps all the behind the scenes operations running with precision. And my Marketing Assistant/Digital Content Creator, Nikki, who is my sounding board, my social media guru, and my friend.

I would also like to recognize all of the community members & organizations who have given me the opportunity to work with them over the past 20 years.  A big Thank You to my family, friends and DSM Events for the referrals that have played a vital role in my journey. Without everyone’s belief in me, I would not be where I am today.
