We had the good fortune of connecting with LB and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi LB, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
I would say there are 2 main factors that are truly behind my success thus far. The first one, to begin with, is why I am pursuing this career path and that is I want to be the best to ever do it at the end of the day. Ever since I was younger, I was told do not ever give half effort in anything I do, always give 100% in all that I do. I carry that same mindset in my career as well, I do not want to be average. No one remembers the average person, they remember the great and the best ones and that is going to be me. I don’t want to be average, I am going to be great. The 2nd factor to my success so far is that I am going to give my mom and grandma a life they never experienced and retire them as well. My mom and grandma made a lot of sacrifices for myself and my siblings and I want to repay them for that. Whenever I feel like giving up, I remember the reason why I am doing this and that keeps me going even on days I just want to chill.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I do is I am a creative director, I shoot for a lot of different people and a lot of different types of videos. I believe what sets me apart is my versatility. I do not limit myself to just one genre of creating videos, I do it all. From music videos, weddings, workout videos, content videos, youtube videos, you name and I am pretty confident I have done it before. If I have yet to shoot a video for a specific genre, I will research and learn how to be prepared so I am confident going into that shoot. My biggest accomplishment so far is actually two, the first one is working with Roc Nation and the artist Kalan Frfr and my next big thing is currently while writing this I am on a Europe tour with stops in Madrid, Barcelona, and London just to name a few. The road to where I am currently at was not easy, there were countless sleepless nights, strict deadlines, not happy clients, going broke for my dreams, being screwed over by the industry, there have been so many things that has happened to me and I feel like the average person will break with everything I went through but those trials and tribulations have made me who I am today. If it was not for a strong support system nor a strong mental and work ethic I will not be here today, those things have helped me when things were not looking good for me. The biggest lesson I learned along the way is that people will not support you until it’s popular to support you and strangers will support you better than people you knew your whole life. It is pretty self-explanatory for those two lessons I learned, and it is really evident in my journey so far. What I want the world to know is that LBCKee & The New Hollywoood will be a household name and the world will know it, just wait on it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my mom and my grandma to start off. My cousin KBell for believing in me since day one, my guys at PasseTape & InfokusMedia, and lastly all the people that support me from the city of Buckeye.
