We had the good fortune of connecting with Yuval Yakoby and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Yuval, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of AZVA has been perseverance. Having your own business is difficult and takes a lot of patience and hard work. Having faith in what the brand represents and believing in the hard work put in behind the scenes is key. Anything good in life takes time so enjoying what I do allows me to not give up when sales are slow or the creative juices aren’t flowing. I truly do love everything about this brand which makes everything I do seamless.
What should our readers know about your business?
The thing that sets AZVA apart is how we adjust to current fashion trends. Change is never easy but being open minded and aware goes a long way. I am most excited about what the near future holds for AZVA. The next 8-12 months are going to be pivotal in our success and how we operate as a business. AZVA got to where it is today by a lot of hard work and having a good support system. The people closest to me have always supported the brand and the vision and that goes a long way. The path was definitely not easy but overcoming all the difficulties was a product of loving what I’m doing and enjoying it whether it was successful or not. I’ve learned a lot of lessons but most importantly is that if you truly love what you’re doing it doesn’t feel like work. I want people to know that our brand is here to stay and we always put the customer first.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Arizona is full of beautiful places but if someone were to visit, going to Papago park is a must. The sunset views are great and it shows the desert vibe that everyone expects to see when visiting Arizona. When it comes to eating getting Mexican food is a must.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The main person I dedicate any success I have to has always been my mother. She has always supported me no matter what I am doing in life and without her I wouldn’t have had the guidance and work ethic I needed. She has always been my rock and I can’t thank her enough for everything she has done for me.
