Many people do not realize that currently in the United States, one in five students will miss class or a day of school, because they do not have access to menstrual supplies. When menstrual supplies are not made readily available, it can have a detrimental impact not only on a students ability to attend school, but also on their ability to focus on their education once they are there. Missing school is not the only consequence when students lack access to these essential items however. A responsible gun store like Alpha Dog Firearms takes time to find out the needs of what is driving an individual to purchase a firearm, whether it be their first or five hundredth purchase. Elizabeth Paulus | Executive Director and College Adviser

There’s a couple things I have learned along the way in life. First, the more education you have, the better the job you can get. I am my own example on that one. It took 13 years to get my four-year degree, but when I did, I finally got a job that had the financial stability I needed for my children. Second, there are lots of bright kiddos out there whose parents can’t help their child navigate the journey to and through higher education. This is the area in which I have focused all my energy the last 10 years, simply because I know where it leads and that our kids need help. With college, I see once hopeful high school seniors become the professional they dreamed of becoming. They are empowered to use their talent to make a dent in the universe. Their new financial stability grows into affluence. They have enriched their lives and next enrich the community around them and the economy as a whole. Everybody wins. Read more>>
