Favorite Quotes & Affirmations

We love ourselves a good quote and so we asked our community to share their favorite quotes and affirmations with us and we’ve highlighted some below.
A quote I live by is: “Make your next move your best move!” Not only is this my favorite quote, but it is also the motto for my business. As a serial-entrepreneur, my mindset is constantly on the move to make situations and/or people better then the current moment. This includes creating the BEST possible life for myself, my loved ones, and those that look to me for professional guidance and expertise. I am a strong believer in affirmations and speaking things into existence from the first moment it becomes a thought or idea. The quote, “Make your next move your best move,” is a call to action….MY call to action. Read more>>
My most favorite phrase is, “Keep On Truckin.” It’s been around for a long time and for some reason it always makes me smile and helps kick the funk. It’s simple and to the point. My favorite quote is actually a few lines from a song by Jessie J called “Masterpiece”. It reads as follows: “I still fall on my face sometimes and I can’t color inside the lines ’cause I’m perfectly incomplete. I’m still working on my masterpiece.” For me it sums up my journey in chocolate both in learning the chocolate medium and design. It’s a craft that is forever evolving so you are constantly learning; and quite often one will experience missteps and yes; we do fall on our faces from time to time. On the other hand it’s allowed for a world of creativity and the freedom to color outside the lines as there is no right or wrong as it pertains to design in chocolate. Read more>>
“The pain of discipline is much less than the pain of regret.” Anonymous This is something I used not only in the classroom, but with my own children for life! Many people often regret not doing this, not having done that so it is a fact that it’s is usually fear which is the sand that clogs the machinery in life. This is why I think staying disciplined and fulfilling objectives leads to beautiful outcomes! Read more>>
