We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Miller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Amber, what are you most passionate about?
My passion really is two-fold… and the reason I started it back in 2004. I wanted to provide a service to small business owners – who couldn’t afford to hire staff – but needed help. The fact is – a business simply can’t grow when the owner is trying to do all of the operations and administrative work themselves. The business owner should be spending more time focusing on servicing their clients and marketing themselves. When they are stuck in their own way – doing too much of the “busy” work, they become tired, burned out and overwhelmed. Part of my passion is to show them how, with even a little support, they can grow their business and continue to be inspired, energized and excited about what they are doing. The second part of my passion comes from my team that works for me. I have always wanted a way for talented individuals, who may have children, be military spouses, etc – to make money from their home, that allows them to use their amazing gifts and talents. I have built a team of talented moms, sisters, daughters, wives who do just that. I love what they do. They are good at what they do. And they are all doing the skills they were blessed with. And they get to do that along side alongside me to support our amazing clients that hire us.
What should our readers know about your business?
We are a boutique virtual assistant/online business management company. We work with entrepreneurs who love what they do and realize they can’t build their company alone. We come alongside them and really become a part of what they are doing. We listen, we care, we encourage and we look for long-term success and growth for both. Most of our business has been from word-of-mouth. We currently have clients who have been with us for over 10 years. The difference that sets us apart from others is our genuine care for their business. We don’t view our clients as a number or their work as “tasks”. We truly care about them and their success and our goal has always been to make our clients feel as if they were our only client. They are family.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in the Phoenix, Arizona area – I would for sure take them up to Canyon Lake on our pontoon boat. We would enjoy drinks and good food at the Lakeside Restaurant and then spend the afternoon boating, tubing and just enjoying being outside.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My husband Chris. He has been my encouragement and has supported me all along.
