Meet Kunu Bickal | Fashion Model & Social Media Influencer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kunu Bickal and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kunu, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Definitely quitting basketball. I envisioned how I wanted my life to be lived and I gave myself two options: either be all in with basketball or be all in with fashion and content creating.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Being a content creator/fashion influencer, I’m able to portray myself literally through pieces of clothing. I think being able to do whatever I want/be wherever I want with my profession is super cool because it doesn’t matter where I’m at, I can take pics anywhere… Alot of people don’t have freedom like that. I’d say it for how far I’ve come in such a short period of time is enough for me and it was quite easy. I mean after all, I’m just taking pictures of myself… I’ve learned that it really isn’t for everyone, alot of people love to do it but to get brands to really like your style enough to send you free clothes AND pay you to take pics in them, is the hard part but it’s just doing what you love. I want everyone to know that TRYING in anything is important! No matter what it is you want to do, all it takes is consistency and will. You can do whatever you set your mind to.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d forsure hit Lenny’s for some root beer floats, Taco Boys (a few times), and iHop. We’d spend some time by the pool since Phoenix is scorching right now. Hopefully they’d be visiting around the time for an Ivory House event! If not, we’d check out some other thrift stores or collectible stores like Toy Fiends or Toying around. And I’d love to randomly meet some new people who’d be down to impulsively take a trip to Sedona to swim

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d say my dad, Jerry, deserves alot of recognition! He’s one of the only people who hasn’t judged me for much and has always supported what I’m doing as long as it’s in good faith. And my girlfriend, Maliah, she has been by my side 100% of the way with every decision I’ve made, photoshoot I’ve done, and all steps into making social media my source of income and how I reach new horizons.
