We had the good fortune of connecting with Scotty Scheller and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Scotty, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process in creating my business was and still is that there are so many negatives that we’re bombarded with every single day. But when you take a step back and really look at the big picture the majority of our problems are extremely small. I don’t believe in “bad days” I believe we all experience tough moments and what you choose to do with the moment is what dictates your day.
As someone who’s come from depression and been to the end of my rope threatening suicide I get understand the thoughts. But in all of my pain and suffering I figured out the cure is to be grateful. Even if you have to fake it over and over and pretend you’re happy when you’re not it will catch on and ultimately change your mindset to see the beauty in every moment. I no longer see negatives and that scares people but I love life and it’s my mission to get everyone I possibly can on that same level!
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My entire life is dedicated to making others lives better! I don’t believe anyone is ever in balance and I don’t believe anyone should strive to be. The causes stress which causes anxiety which triggers you to become stagnant. Instead I look at the areas of someone life where they might just need a little push and as that starts to go up we actively look for other areas that might be starting to move down. Think of it as your life being a bunch of bubbles. Some are lower and some are higher, as long as they’re all floating we’re good.
After years of being miserable, over weight, no confidence and lacking in all areas of life I decided enough was enough. Losing a girlfriend and having a life changing hockey injury was the mail in the coffin. I decided enjoy th was enough! I decided that if I was going to be the person I wanted to be I’d have to change my identity. I went on a 4 year journey of learning all things mindset, health, wealth, personal style, confidence, relationship and came out with a thriving business of my own, unshakable confidence, style that catches eyes when I go out, a mindset that keeps me positive and excited for life every day that I wake up and even in hard situations I can overcome them with ease! I’ve built brands, connected and partnered with countless companies, built relationships and been in rooms with some of the top influencers that the world knows today! And it all started with shifting who I was and setting a goal to become who I was truly meant to be.
What’s a life worth living if your healthy but don’t have good relationships? And what’s life like if you’re wealthy yet in terrible health? Or your relationships are solid but you don’t have the financials to go out and enjoy time with those relationships?
I’ve coached hundreds of individuals from the average college student to the 9 to 5 worker all the way up to high performing doctors and CEOs in 1 on 1s and in small groups to become the best versions of themselves and its just the beginning. I want to impact the world and have the world know my name.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Oh, man! Well, I’m a big foodie, so we have to start there! I believe everyone has their go-to places out there, but there’s a hidden gem on the West Side called Seoul Korean bbq and sushi, and it’s literally all you can eat of both!! Great staff, great prices, and the food is amazing! I love to cook, and being able to grill your own food and enjoy your friends and have an experience makes this my go-to spot!
I know everyone is going to say hiking, and I’d agree, but if that’s not your thing, just going downtown at night and walking around is so fun! A lot of fun bars and restaurants!
AZ is very active, so if you’re looking for a gym, I always recommend making your way up to Glory Gains in North Scottsdale. Awesome community and a great place to network while having a killer workout
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s one person I give all the credit to in all my success. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without him I’m nothing and have nothing!
