We had the good fortune of connecting with Orlando Cordero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Orlando, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Arizona in 2016. I believe it circles back to your environment and the circles you are in. I was raised in a very hard-working, business/ self-growth embracing family. Where independence and being your own boss is praised. Having many role models to family friendly, uncles, and even my own parents all which were very successful and motivated people. It was a conversation at the dinner table of topics like what was your new projects, what were we working on, and brain storming of how to create multiple streams of income. This being the norm in my house made/taught me work ethic and to always pay attention to small details and look into things that people usually would not.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My main source of income and business is my Mobile Detailing business. Pretty self explanatory we’re we detail your car wherever it is more convenient to you. Besides real good quality at a reasonable pricing and also accessibility, what I feel like that sets us aside the most 1. Being customer and quality driven, 2. is the fact that we were able to identify a need in the market for a high quality yet accessible pricing. A lot of detailers especially the mobile ones are targeted towards a higher end customer with prices that for most people would be absurd, or you get the short end of the stick with the cheap guy that on a good day will do good enough to satisfy the everyday customer but there is no real quality and that shows in the vehicle the low quality product. We wanted to target that middle working class, offering a high-end finished product while still offering a top-of-the line detail. I am very proud of where we’ve gotten in only 8 months of being in business, but I am even more excited of what’s on the way. I don’t consider I’m in a place where I can sit back a look at where I’ve gotten I still got a lot more to do and improve, but it has not been easy. It just takes time, patience, plenty of headaches and to be a little crazy to wake up every morning and say you want to do this all over again. I would want the world to know that Valleywide is going to redefine the way the automotive care business is done in general. We are going to bring a lot of new things to the game.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely take them on a couple hikes in a couple different spots around the valley. We would’ve drive around downtown at night especially around Christmas time. Definitely try a couple of the best spots for dinner like Cafe Monarch in Scottsdale. Definitely have some lunch at the cannel club. Probably take them to either a cardinals or suns game, and probably take them to a car show since Arizona has a very active car scene.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There’s definitely a list of people that has and continues to mentor me and support me. For that I am thankful for you guys. But who I feel deserve a shoutout here is my wife Ally Quintero and my business partner Ivan Michel. For always supporting and believing in my crazy ideas even when it’s not clear if it’s a rational decision or not, they just trust me and the process and I am very lucky for that.
