We are so inspired by the businesses in our community because of how many of them are committed to helping to make the world better than it is today. Check out some great businesses below and how they are helping others.

Joe Klein | Founder, Axis Culture Group

At Axis Culture Group, we are very strategic in who we choose to partner with in a client relationship. Over time we have developed a vetting process that ensures that every business or organization that we work with is focused on building a better community around them. It is vital to our marketing model that each and every client exists to improve their community because their business or organization exists within it. We then build marketing and partnership-focused strategies from that place. The result is a business that attracts top talent, wonderful customer experience, with a brand that creates community impact. For Axis, this allows our team to consistently be improving communities by building campaigns that create meaningful awareness and interaction for our clients. That type of impact is what motivates us to create, day in and day out. Read more>>

Michele Larson | Prenatal and Postnatal Personal Trainer

I am a prenatal and postnatal personal trainer. I was a personal trainer before I had my daughter. Once, I had my daughter I realized how the fitness industry was failing moms. There is very little correct information on how to return to fitness postpartum and how to properly workout while pregnant. My work is helping to raise the level of care for moms. I continue to share my voice so that women know they do not have to heal on their own. There are a lot of options that can support them to feel better and feel the strongest they have ever been. Through TTC, Pregnancy, and Postpartum- a time when there is so much transition in a mothers life. Besides mothers receiving a better level of care I am proud to teach moms how to show up for themselves. If moms are able to feel their best and model for their children a healthy lifestyle. We can make huge progress in the health of all Americans. Read more>>

Kimberly Guimarin | Founder & CEO

I was always taught I could do anything and to embrace a larger purpose. Being from a very small town, community is everything. When I founded Pop’s Coffee, I knew I wanted to do more than produce amazing artisan coffee, I wanted to give back from day one. I developed our Buy-a-Bag / Give-a-Bag program; for every bag of coffee purchased on-line I donate a bag of coffee to the hardworking men and women serving in our military. Giving back in this way is meaningful to me. My family has a proud military history, for example, my great-uncle survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It is my honor to provide a coffee moment to these heroes. The Pop’s Coffee Fundraising Program came from my passion for children! I developed the program with schools, sports teams and clubs in mind, but it works for any group. This program allows a group to raise big money selling artisan coffee, something almost everyone consumes everyday. This program is streamlined and successful, and now offers a fully virtual option. For me, the larger purpose goes beyond my everyday. Our beans are sourced from fair trade, sustainable farms. Read more>>
